still alive

Hello all!! I've really been trying to get my pics together to blog a really great blog....I'm sure you can see how successful I've been. I do have a few pictures, but I figured since I had the computer up and going, I'd just blog. Hopefully, later today, I'll get the pics up too! Brooklyn and her cousins have been playing and playing. If we're not at the Hibshmans' then we're at the Holmes'. Both famiy have LOTS of kids to play with. She is LOVING it! Although, I must admit, I'm a little frustrated with her lack of interest in what I'm saying. We had a little issue yesterday, but hopefully we've worked it out. She's supposed to be working on being a better listener. I'm hoping so at any rate :). Yesterday I got to play all day :). My sis-in-law and mom-in-law spent the afternoon scrapbooking! It was a blast! I made some pages, some cover decor and a generally awesome mess!! We took up the Hibshman's entire table and that is quite a feat! We have a few new stores to check out today (the new Hobby Lobby in Logan did NOT dissappoint!!) (btw, I totally just started typing Des Moines). What else has been going on...?? Not much to report. It pretty much feels like the vacations we would take to UT while living in DSM. I wonder if it is going to feel like that all summer, or if it will wear off? I need it to wear off at least a little. I can't remember when the last time I got some decent exercise. Not even a walk. I haven't even used my stroller since we left the land of IA. I'm going to gain 20 lbs this summer if I don't start!! (definitely NOT good since losing 10 lbs is on my list of things to do!!) I hope everyone's summer is going well! I can't wait to see what everyone has been up to!
