A few weeks ago was Mason's first Music program at school. It was beach themed and he loved it! He was so excited to sing for us and to stand by his friends up on the stage.
He got to wear his swim trunks and sun glasses. Julianne had to wear her sun glasses, too and followed him into the classroom before the concert. I had to send Brooklyn in after her! That girl loves to do anything Mason is doing!
What a stud, eh?
Then, over this last weekend, Julianne still hadn't spent her birthday money. Brooklyn and Mason both have Build-a-bears, so I suggested Julianne use her money to get one, too. She was game, so off to Build-a-bear we went. She chose a black bear and named him Darth Vader.
She gave him a bath after his stuffing, and went clothes shopping. Surprisingly, she went for an Iowa State tee instead of the Darth costume, but I'm totally okay with that!
I thought I had a pic of her with her bear but it must be on my phone. I think Brooklyn and Mason enjoyed making the bear as much as Julianne did, but at least she has had the experience. And, we may have inspired some bears for some friends soon (ahem, Grovers!). :).
I know she enjoyed coloring Darth Vader's house... This girl loves to color, especially when it involves markers.... :)
