As I've mentioned before: we have the healthiest habits ever! Especially when it comes to a weekend spent at home. General Conference is just such a weekend. What would a weekend be without a treat? One quick phone call from Jon to Jenny and we are "blessed" with a dish full of Scotcharoos. Tastey little morsels comprised of Corn Flakes (or Rice Krispies), peanut butter, butterscotch chips, and oodles of love (among other necessary ingredients). They are T-A-S-T-E-Y!
As you can see, Brooklyn thoroughly enjoyed licking the spoon. But then, who wouldn't?
:The end product:
Unfortunately, the topping turned out to be as thick as the base. Although it was good, it was slightly overwhelming. So, Jon scraped off this much:
Well worth the effort and VERY satisfying. Happy Tuesday everyone!

Those are one of my favorite treats! I'll have to keep them in mind for next conference. Steve commented on how we needed more treats around. I can't believe how big Brooklyn is. She's beautiful! I will always picture her as the darling little baby she was when you guys left Logan.
Also, how old is little Mason? What a cutie!!
Those are my favorite treats! We call them Bear Lake treats because Clayton's grandma always brings them to Bear Lake. Are you guys moving? Is Jon almost done with school?
That is one of my favorite treats. I made them for Ben on Sunday before he went to Montana for a month. It made him feel really special. I am glad you enjoyed conference weekend.
Who DOESN'T love scotcheroos? I could sustain my existance on them. (My fat jiggly existance, but you know what I mean!) FUN! I agree, CONFERENCE WEEKEND rocks the house yo! :0)
