January for sure
It's officially January in T.V. land! Yes, I mean American Idol. I just wasted a couple hours of my life on the wonderfully addictive show and I must say; I was not disappointed. The good, the bad, and the ugly to put it mildly. Seriously, why do some people do it?? I don't understand what posses some. Then, there's the rare few who can actually sing and enjoy it at the same time. First of all, who wants to see a guy in Princess Leiah's Jabba-the-hut dancing costume? Let alone a hairy guy who can't sing? Then there's the self-proclaimed "dork" who never really explains why she wears her "costume", but rants and raves about everyone else's dress choice. Serioulsy girl, if it was about your outfit, you wouldn't have even made into see Simon, Paula, and Randy. Oh and don't forget the wanna-be-vetrinarian (definitely a credit to the professions since she has 6 or so pets in her one-bedroom studio apartment that she shares with her mom....) who takes offense to some incredibly mild comments by Simon and Randy, and vows to take on "actressing" and be successful at it just to show them up. Not to mention the fact that she looked like she was in her late 40's not her actual young 20's. Oh well...What would America be without these people, right? On with the show, I say. Even though my favorite never wins....bring it on!

I was watching it with bret but currently am watching my pre-recorded biggest loser as i wait for bret to get back from the store to buy more carpet cleaner...yeah...we heard ella's door opening and then "moooom" and then SPLAT....I run up the stairs and Ella is puking all over by her door...sick yes...sad VERY!! As I was holding her hair over the toilet she says "mom, I sick like Mailee and brooklyn" soo sad. I told her that Brooklyn felt better now and that she will too and that helped her. I can't complain though, this is only the second time ella has had the flue in her life or puked for that matter...ANYWAY, so I'll have to put watching American Idol off until tomorrow...*sigh* oh the joys
ps don't you love how i just wrote a short story on your blog..sorry! :D
WHOA, I'm speechless--that was quite the show--but it was entertaining!
I had saa last night and missed it all and since it's still just the crappy people I didn't record it, I always just feel so bad for them - why don't their mom's tell them that they can't sing?!
what is crazy is that they have people they have to sing to before they even get in there to see simon, paula and randy. i had a friend that tried out and she had to sing for this one group and didn't make it past them to get to the real judges, so you know they let those crazy people through for ratings. sucks though b/c i don't care about watching that part of it but i do it anyway and i'm like erica and have it recorded so i will watch it later today also.
I normally don't watch it because the people are crazy- but I saw it last night and then I couldn't stop watching. I agree...Princess Leiah lady was a bit on the odd side. John kept saying...even if she put on makeup and normal clothes she still wouldn't have made it...I have to agree. What about the stalker guy and his song to Paula- Holy COW! I was frightened for her!
Anyways- glad to hear someone else was using their evening hours watching such entertainment! :)
HA HA! Ya gotta love American Idol. I have to say that I was disappointed last night. I kind of thought it was stupid. Those people were really annoying! The girl with 6 pets in one bedroom made me sick! She was a seriously FREAK!!!!
All I have to say to you is "Let my ppl go!"
Jealous, jealous, jealous! I got totally addicted to American Idol last season, but this year we don't have cable! I am very sad to be missing out! You'll have to keep me updated! Love the new template by the way!
I love American Idol! I forgot to watch in on Tuesday. Sad. Oh well I won't miss it next week.
You forgot about the oldie but goodie guy who was extremely creepy and the singer/stalker/song writer who song was for Paula, "Simon was ruining the moment". I couldn't believe they let that guy sing. Anyways, so good, to hear from you. Very cute blog might I add. Are you still working at Archivers? How goes it? I'm glad you found my blog and I can see yours. Have fun.
