Farewell, Iowa....This is probably my last blog from the plains of the Midwest... We're packing the truck tomorrow a.m. (probably around 9:30 if anyone wants to send their husbands over, we'd really appreciate it!) and then the burst of cleaning, check-out, a good night's sleep (we hope) and we're off. Off to new adventures, off to a "new" life. No more student complaints for us! More likely than not, we'll be wishing for simpler times :) hee hee just kidding! I'm so excited and I'm sure we'll love every minute of it! Iowa has been so good to us! Amazing ward(s), incredible friends, lots of good times; my list could go on and on. I think the best part about Iowa, for us, was how much we learned to be our own Family Unit. We love living around family, we love visiting and having cousins nearby; but, there is just something about only have the 3 (now 4) of you to rely on that makes the bond that much stronger. It will be so fun to be around family again, but I know that our "little" family will be stronger for having been away. We are really going to miss the many friends we made here, and I fully expect ALL of you to keep in touch!! If you have a blog, UPDATE IT!!! if you don't...you'd better email me once in a while, or better yet, CALL! We'll be keeping our IA cell numbers until we get settled, so if I have your email, you'll hear about it, and if I don't...well, send it my way. Anyway, back to the point...THANK YOU so much, everyone who has kept us sane over the last (almost) 3 years, THANK YOU to everyone who has befriended me and my kids, THANK YOU to everyone who commiserated with my husband and made him feel better about his test scores, homework, job-hunting, etc. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! Feel free to come visit any time, and hopefully, we'll find excuses to all get together now and then. Fare Well, Iowa! We will miss you!
P.s. Happy Birthday to my blog...in two days, it will turn One-year-old....CRAZY!

I am sad that such good neighbors are moving away, but wish you the best in your next adventure! Joel has his last test of the year and then should be on his way home this morning, so if you need any help recruit him. :)
I am so sad that I won't be able to be there to help you! Crazy how fast this has all come up! We miss you guys! can't wait to see you again (and was that update blog hint towards me?! heheh! sorry! - but I"m updating today, I promise!)
We're SO sad you're leaving. Ella prays for her friends every night that they won't move...I'm thinking she's going to be very disappointed when August comes and she realizes it's just not being apart for the summer...so sad!
When we get to utah i'll give you a call so we can meet and get the kids together. I have a group of people that will be in utah in july that all want to get together so I'll keep you in the loop :)
bring the kids over today if you need to clean and keep them out :) If not we'll be stopping by anyway for goodbyes and a little something for Brooklyn :)

I'm glad that you guys had so much fun in Iowa! But we're so excited to have you here for a few weeks and then excited to see wherever it is you're off to next. It's really going to confuse my kids that you don't live in Iowa anymore! Have fun driving to Utah!
We are sad that you are leaving but at the same time we are super excited for you guys! On to bigger and better things! No more FREEZING COLD Iowa winters!!! Thanks for being such a great friend Ann-Marie! You have been so nice and thoughtful to me, especially when I first moved here!! Best of luck in the future! I am sure we will bump into each other sometime in good old Corinne!
I will miss you guys stopping in Archiver's every once in a while to say "hi". It's been wonderful getting to know you guys and I will never forget all those late nights at Perkins after manias. Take care and may you have a safe and uneventful trip to Utah.

HUGE congratulations on graduating!! Way to go! And good luck with your move, studying, taking the bar, etc, etc. This post totally reminds me of leaving Iowa two years ago. It was so fun to know we were done with law school, but so sad to leave at the same time! So, where is the next stop for you guys? Good luck with your next adventure!
