linus

Sorry for the lack of posting lately, our lives have been really boring. Nothing at all exciting to blog about. However, this is all about to change! Within the next month or so, TONZ of stuff is gonna happen. This could mean 1 of 2 things. 1) I have LOTS to blog about and many pics to post; or 2) I'll be incredibly busy and you won't hear about any of it! We'll hope for #1, but I'm not making any promises! Between Brooklyn's birthday party (which I'm determined won't be a dud this year!), family coming, graduation, actual birthdays, moving and saying good-bye, there is a good chance the old blog will take the back burner. I'll try my hardest not to let that happen, though. So, in an attempt to take a step in the "right" direction, I have some pictures to share!
I've said before that Mason is a bit of a "Linus". You know the kid on Charlie Brown who always has his blanket...? Well, this trait has suddenly become dominant again. He carries a blanket (sometimes two) with him almost all the time. I've had to get out the lighter, smaller blankets so he'll stop tripping over them! It's so cute! It doesn't matter which blanket it is. He just wants one. Friday he would NOT go into Target without the darn thing and he never once let go of it! It's a little strange for me. Brooklyn was never necessarily attached to one thing all the time. She had her binky, but even that she wasn't insistant on having. So, here's our little Linus. It's So cute!

He is all boy, too. We bought a box of diapers and before we even made it out of the store, he was trying to climb on it. Jon put it on the floor while he put the cart away and Mason tried to tip it on its side so he could climb up. As SOON as we got home, this is where he was:
And...any time the camera comes out, Brooklyn MUST cheese. She's also fascinated with taking pictures lately. I should really look into getting her her own camera.
Lastly, naptime. Yesterday, Mason fell asleep with his book over his head. Who needs a sleep mask when you have a peek-a-boo book?

I love blanket boys - how cute. We have to take them everywhere and oh well! That picture of Mason sleeping is so funny, really, I should take a picture of the train head, but I am so worried I will wake them up. I still think you should post the recipie, picture or not, of your treat. They were GOOOD!

I can't believe how fast your little ones grow up! Watch out for Mason! First it starts with climbing on boxes, then it turns into jumping off the couches and beds and whatever else they can climb on!
