Still Kicking
I know it's been ages. I love reading everyone's blogs and then don't write my own :). It's been a relatively boring couple weeks (or so). But, the weather has been gorgeous and we've been to the park like every day. Not to rub it in or anything but it's been near 70 for a week or so. It's wonderful, we love it, but I kind of forget it's January. Mason's birthday is coming up and I'm considering being domesticated with a cake. I'm not sure it will work out, or even that I will attempt it, but it's fun to think about making him a tractor cake. I can't believe he's two. He has been talking a TON lately, though. Today he bonked his head and Brooklyn tried to kiss it better. He responded by pushing her away and saying, "No, Ma. No kisses from you!" Then he came to me for a kiss. Crazy kid. He also asks me everyday to go see Grandpa Ken. One of these days we'll actually make it up there. I had every intention of being already gone, but we've had (more) trouble with the house we're trying to get. More on that later.... FINALLY Brooklyn decided it was cool to ride her bike. She's only had it for almost a year.... But, suddenly she asks to ride it everyday and complains when I make her go inside because I'm tired of watching her ride up and down the sidewalk. Poor Mason is dying to ride a bike, too but unfortunately we don't have one for him to ride. I really should take a picture or two, eh? So, sorry for the blab, but I just wanted everyone to know we're still alive :).

glad to hear you are doing well!! love your new background too!! even here in arkansas it has been cold! it was 29 degrees this morning! haha
A-M, I'm SO envious that you get to go to the park! I guess that's what I get for living in Utah! Lucky you! I made Gunnar a tractor cake for his b-day this last year...you can check out the pics on my blog (from November) and if you like, I can e-mail you the instruction page I got the idea from. I think that the Easter Bunny is going to leave some bikes at our house this year, my kids are both begging to ride one! Oh, and I am totally like you...reading others' blogs and not doing anything with mine, you're not alone! Hope all is well!
Can't wait to see the tractor cake!
