Hello all! We are still alive and in Utah. Missing our Daddy/Husband and wishing the 8 hr drive wasn't quite 8 hrs (but at least it isn't 17, right?). I just wanted to shout out a HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! to everyone tomorrow and a Happy Friday the 13th today. I love Friday the 13ths....just for the sheer joy of knowing that something so "bad" could be so fun. It reminds me of my parents. They were married on a Friday the 13th and look how great it worked out for them! (plus, they got me so what could be better, right?? :) hee hee...i'm gonna get some crap for that one...). So, we'll be celebrating the dual-holiday (ish) by doing nothing out of the ordinary. :D Pretty standard for us. However, we are SUPER excited to see Jon tonight and spend the weekend with family before we head home.
On a side-note, it's swiftly becoming a tradition to go see Dr. Visick every time we come to Utah. I LOVE Dr. Visick, but I would rather not have to visit him every time. Last December we got to see him due to an ear infection for Mason. Today we got to go see him only to discover another ear infection plus an eye infection plus a red throat. No wonder my little guy has been a bit of a beast as of late. Hopefully the drugs will clear these things up quickly and we can fall into a healthier pattern when we visit. I'm seriously considering driving to UT anytime we need a pediatrician. It would be SOOO much easier to see the same Dr. every time. Plus, we love him, so why not, right? Oh yeah...8 hours. Maybe not.
So....HAPPY VALENTINE'S ALL!! May your weekend be full of love and fun un-superstitious games :). Hopefully we'll be back to regular blogging soon!

Happy Valentine's Day to you and your family from SNOWY Iowa. We got 7 inches of the fluffy white stuff at least it was easy to shovel! :o) Have fun on both of your holidays... I'd forgotten it was Friday the 13th until I read your blog. Drive safely!!
