So, you totally can't tell in the pic, my shins do not feel very well today. This morning I was pulling a loaf of bread out of the freezer and unexpectedly got a little more than I'd bargained for. It all happened so quickly, I'm not sure if the offenders bounced and hit my shins or hit them on the way down. Anyway, out came the bread and along with it came two packages of frozen solid steaks. Frozen solid as it 5 lb ROCKS. TWO packages perfectly aimed for one to hit each leg. Simultaneously. Yeah. It took a good 5 minutes of deep breathing to stem the curses, tears of pain and general anguish (such things bring curious kids...). One leg has a decent bump and I could see a bruise forming almost instantly. The other, slightly smaller. Needless to say, these shins are getting some TLC for a few days, and that may include refraining from using the razor. Good thing my leg hair is white (same color as my legs!)

Ouch! Hope they feel better soon
That sounds SO painful!
Oh man! I hope you feel better soon, sorry that happened!
I'm sorry that happened to you...that sucks! I'm proud of you that you kept your cool and didn't swear. Good Job!
Oh OUCH! I guess you could consider yourself lucky that you were near the ice you needed to slow the swelling. Hope they feel better soon!
Oh man! Anything hitting your shins hurts, I can't imagine two 5lb. slabs of meat! Hope they feel better soon.
ooh bummer, maybe a soak in the tub will help, I think it helps everything!
Totally did that last month. A big old bag of frozen turkey burgers slammed into my shin. Luckily, it was only the one shin. Still have a sore spot.
But seriously, what is going on??? Have I missed something on your blog recently that says you are moving? Maybe I need to go back and look at older posts that I missed? I just saw you are selling your house on FB. I feel like an idiot for not knowing what's going on, but where are you moving???
