A project in the making

Not long ago, I won a gift card to an online fabric store and promptly went shopping.  I got a bundle of fat quarters and stared at their loveliness for a few weeks while I decided what to do with them.  Finally I decided to make 9-patch blocks for a quilt top.  Now, my debate is how big to make the borders.  Originally, I was going to make them 4 inches (the size of the blocks), but now that I've laid it out, I'm leaning more toward a 2-inch border.  That will shrink the quilt, though so I'm hesitant.  Oh well.  It'll all work out in the end....
Thanks, Old Red Barn Co
