Brooklyn + no sleep = Wierd

Careful, I don't want to always be blogging about Mason....Brooklyn is a light in my life and I felt a little sorry for her yesterday. She got up WAYY earlier than she should've and, true to form, wouldn't take a nap. Needless to say, by the time 5:00 rolled around she was acting a little strange. I was feeding Mason, waiting for Jon to come home (I was supposed to work at 5) and I heard her in the bathroom. NO problem since she goes potty by herself'; but the noises coming from the bathroom didn't really sound like "Potty" noises, so I went to check it out. I came around the corner into the bathroom and was met with Brooklyn standing there....naked. Mind you, it's 5 p.m. I said, "Babe, what are you doing??" Calmly and as if I should know, she said, "It's my bath time." Usually this time is around 7:30, 8:00 right before bed. I told her to please get dressed, it wasn't bathtime yet and went to sit on the couch. (Mason's getting heavy and it's hard to feed him standing up sometimes.) Next, I hear Brooklyn in her room and I hear a diaper tab being torn open.
"Brooklyn, what are you doing???"
"Putting on a diaper."
We still wear a diaper at night because she doesn't wake up when she needs to use the potty. I'm thinking, "What is going on with this kid??" SHe was obviously tired, but I knew if she went to bed then, she'd be up half the night so I told her to get dressed, she couldn't go to bed yet. By this time it's only 5:10 or something and Jon came home to me on the couch, Brooklyn standing naked in front of me, holding her panties trying to get out of putting them on. Poor guy. I handed Mason off (who was still eating), kissed him on the cheek, "good luck", and left. I was already late. Needless to say, that was just the beginning of JOn's night. At about 7 he called me at work (which he NEVER does). Mason was screaming bloody murder (and had been for quite some time from what i understand), and Brooklyn was crying because he'd told her "no" about something. She was BEAT so by the time I got home, they were both asleep. SO much for Mason sleeping through the night....but that's ok. At least Brooklyn did.

Hi Anne-Marie!
I'm not totally sure how I found your blog... I was on Laura B.'s blog & saw one of her "favorite blogs" that said WDM, so I went there & then on that blog I saw the name Anne-Marie on her list of blogs & I wondered if it could be & it is you!! How are you??? Congrats on your baby boy- did your husband tell you I saw him in Baby Gap, I think it was either the day Mason was born or the day he was going home. How is Brooklyn? Are you still working at Archiver's? I hope all is well!
Kristi (your old Archiver's manager & I don't mean old as in age!=)
