burning up the road...
We're off to Las Vegas (again) this afternoon to look for a place to live. Seriously...this is my least favorite part of moving. I wish someone would just say, "You should live there. It's perfect for you. And you will still like it there a few years down the road..." Why can no one do that? Hmm?? Oh well. I guess we'll just have to go find our own place. Luckily, Jon's mom loves us enough to keep the kids again. That should cut our stress level down significantly. We're looking at a purchasing, but it's a very daunting thought. Who knew that I would actually get a house? I mean I've been wanting for a while, but never really believing it was in our cards just yet. We'll see. With my luck, we'll end up in another 2 bedroom, 900 sq ft apartment for another 6 months. Then I would get to move again. Ok, enough digressing. We'll be finding a place (bought or rent) before the end of the next few days. Wish us luck! :) Hopefully I'll have some pictures to share when we get back.

goodluck with the drive and house hunting. We just had the conversation last night as to when we'll fly out to look for houses. Bret has to rearrange some of his rotations so we can go in april instead of jan..that way if we find a house we can make an offer and won't have to pay a house payment until we actually move (if that makes sense). Anyway...it's fun to see that we're kinda both in the same place...kinda :)

Great news on the job front! It is so exciting to look for houses. All the stress...I so wish you could take a house for a test drive it would make the decision so much easier. Good luck and what exciting times for you and your family!
Have fun house or apartment-hunting. It is fun until you have to make that decision and then it can be a little stressful. Hopefully, you guys will find something and just know that it is the right one for you!

Good luck! We were in that same boat a few months ago - fortunately we were familiar with the area we were moving to but it's still so stressful trying to decide what to do. Best of luck in the hunt!
