weekend happenings

Tuesday again already. We had a pretty fun weekend, and although my camera was in my bad the entire time, no pictures. Friday was the usual. Dinner, run to the store just for fun, bed time, movie. Thriller, eh? It got better from there, though. Late Friday night, Jon's brother and his wife came for a little visit and it was great! We lounged Sat a.m., got some lunch, the boys went golfing, and us girls continued to lounge. That part could have been a little more exciting for my dear sis-in-law; but unfortunately, there's only so much you can do while your 18-mo-old naps. It was fun, though. We made rolls, dessert, a salad, perused cookbooks and subjected dear Amanda to a Barbie movie. Good times, I tell ya. Finally the boys came back and we had dinner with the James' and broke out ye old Settlers once again. Seriously, you cannot go wrong with a night full of that game. Not only did we play, it rained like crazy! It was awesome! Sunday a.m. we lounged some more, prepared to watch the Broncos game, and were seriously disappointed when the FOX we get showed bull riding instead. Oh well. What do you do? We watched Shrek. It was fun. Then, sadly, the "California Hibshmans" had to head home. Stupid work. It was a great weekend, and we're looking forward to more visitors and taking a few road trips ourselves. Hopefully, next time, I'll actually TAKE some pictures :). Happy Birthday to my dear Father-in-law today, and have a great week!
