Phantom

Oh, how I love surprises! It was our dear cousins birthday last week and her hubby planned a great surprise! No, the surprise wasn't for me, but it was still just as fun! Their families came to town and we all had dinner and went to a show. It was great fun and their house was completely, blissfully, overflowing. After a delicious dinner that left us all feeling a bit uncomfortable, we went to see Phantom at the Venetian. I absolutely adore the movie, but had never seen it live so I was SOOOO excited! And there was absolutely no dissappointment. It was absolutely amazing, to say the least. Incredible special effects, the most talented voices, and all the emotion that the story brings. Sigh, what a night. Besides that, we had an EXCELLENT babysitter(s) and a wonderful night with just Jon and me. I have issues with babysitters. (Not brave enough to just ask anyone, you know.) If anyone gets the opportunity to see the show, you should. Come to Vegas! You can stay with us and go see this show :). It was great fun!

Seriously, some people are so incredibly talented! Lastly, and completely off subject....Brooklyn built this chair for her dolly the other day with her "uncle Lenny" blocks. I was pretty impressed myself. It took a few tries. Her first few attempts tended to fall over. She figured it out, though. Speaking of brilliance.... :)

Sounds like alot of fun. How great to be close enough to the strip to head down for a great show...and then make it back home the same night.

I adore phantom. The first time I saw it was in San Fransisco and the guy playing the phantom tripped on his cape and fell down the flight of stairs he was supposed to manly walk down while singing...now that's entertainment!

sounds like a FUN night with family. I just love going to live musicals...nothing can compare. We'll have to go to one maybe when we visit?

Yes the babysitter was excellent indeed...just until her parents came home and she crashed for the night..but not really because she had to stay up most of the night with Kye! HAH! You're kids are adorable and Brooklyne is just like a little mommy she's so funny!! It was so fun to see you guys when I come down in December we'll have to spend more time together!! :)

Sounds like Phaontom was wonderful, what a fun thing to do! Hope you are enjoying the Christmas season. I started making calendars for my parents and thought of you. You helped me with them last year and they turned out great. I guess I'm on my own this year, will see how they turn out.
