We had this conversation yesterday afternoon. I have a head cold and yesterday was the peak-yucky-day.
Brooklyn: Mom you want to come outside with us and jump on the tramp?
Mason (running for the back door): I'll go outside with you! Yeah! Let's go outside!
Me: Sweetie, I don't feel good, I can't go jump with you right now. I'm sorry.
Brooklyn (doing a 180 and heading back into the living room): Oh.
Me: Mason will go outside with you. He wants to jump on the tramp, too.
Brooklyn: I don't want to go outside anymore...
Mason: Blooklyn, I'll play with you. I'm a big boy.
......
I was really sad for him. "I'm a big boy" he says trying to get her to play with him. I guess the annoying-younger-sibling phase has begun... Dang it! I went outside with them and sat on the picnic table just so she'd play with him. But it didn't work. I wanted to come back in to lay down and she followed me in. Stinker. Oh well. Good thing he's young enough to easily forgive and forget. I can still hear his little voice, "I'm a big boy".....

That is sad. I will be sad when that day comes at our house too.
Oh man, that almost made me cry! :( I can just hear Mason saying that too in his cute little voice.
