Recap...

 We had an excellent holiday.  It was full of fun and good food.  We'll just stick with a picture monologue with some explanation as needed.. Oh wait.  That's what I always end up doing. 

 Christmas Eve included a yummy steak dinner...

 And new pajamas for everyone.

 Definitely a cookie for Santa....

 Which he ate!  Yay!

 Christmas day started all this fun....

 Lasagna....

Then we wrapped up the New Year by putting the kids to bed on time (lame I know) and just hanging out.  Actually Jon went to bed and I watched some of my new season of Bones (Thanks Hibshmans!!)

Next, we Caucused.  We live in Iowa.  How can you NOT caucus? 

 The kids weren't really entertained, but considering we were there for 2 hours, they did really, really well!

 If you ask Julianne, I "broke" her crib and she got a big girl bed!  She's fallen out a couple times and had a few near misses.  Every time I check on her (at night and in the a.m.), I shove her back to the wall....

 She loves Masons shoes.  Wears them around the house nearly everyday.  Always Mason's.  Never Brooklyn's.  Probably because they're Cars, but that's just a theory.

 "Mom! Take a picture of my with my guys!".  During this play time (with the police helicopter and men) he said, "I wish this had come with some robins."  I was confused and asked what he meant.  He said "You know, the guys that policemen get!".  Oh! I get it.  ROBBERS!  Ha! Love that kid!

Not really sure what this is, but she thought it was totally cool.  Love these kids, even when they drive me to distraction....
