The Field Trip and other fun things

Brooklyn had her first School Field Trip last Friday and she was VERY excited. I was pretty excited for her. They went to Baby Animal Days at the Heritage Farm and she got to ride a bus!! She was SOOOOOO Excited about that part. Mason was really sad he couldn't go, and I didn't want to hear about it for the next five years so I got permission for him to come along (I was going anyway, being the "room mother" and all...). He would've survived had I not, but I figure, they're kindergartners, they don't care about little brothers tagging along.

Julianne can't be left out. I turned the camera toward her and instantly got this huge grin.


You may recall (or not, because I can't remember if I blogged about it...), Jon's sister had a little boy exactly one week after I had Julianne. So, we had another 1-year-old party last weekend. It's so fun to see them digging into the cake, I think that's my favorite part. His mommy and daddy are huge Jazz fans, so this little guy got a Jazz cake courtesy of his mommy and Uncle Jon.
He got to dig into a basketball cake all his own and it was very fun to watch :).

And, on a completely random note, I thought I'd introduce you to Julianne's most favorite past time....
Emptying my purse.
