Birthday projects

Well, here they are. I made this for my mom for her birthday (Thanks, Carole, for getting me those pics :D). I was gonna buy the pics on deseretbook.com and they were reasonably priced, but then I looked at the shipping. They were charging as much as I was paying for the pictures AND it was going to take up to three weeks to get them. Instead, I called my incredible mom-in-law; who: got them that evening, shipped them off, and I had them before the week was out. Is she great or what??? Any who... This is what I came up with. Then, I had all the stuff to make two, so this one came along. **Mom, if you like the other one better, let me know and I'll bring it at Christmas** It was a fun project. SO then, I made this "quilt" card that I've been dying to try. It just totally reminded me of my mom, I couldn't resist. Both items worked out well, I thought. (If I do say so myself). So -- Happy Belated Birthday, Mom; and Thank you, Carole for all your help!

p.s. you can click on the pics for a closer view of you choose!

on the card; I pricked holes with a needle and drew lines "connecting the dots" so to say...I would've borrowed your stamps, but....you were out of town :D
