carseats

A B
I'm not sure exactly what happened. Actually, I know what happened; I'm just not sure when. Somehow, we got from picture A to picture B, and are swiftly headed to picture C (not listed :D). Mason is growing so fast. Most recent at-home weigh-in put him at 16 lbs. Brooklyn was only 15.1 at her 6 mo. checkup! (He's 5 mo, just so you don't have to do the math :D.) He's ready to move to the bigger carseat, I think. But, I'm not sure I'm ready. I was carrying him through the store today and he's definitely too heavy in the carrier for that, but I'm not sure I want to sit him in a shopping cart....And...I'm not sure I'm ready to admit he's that big. Not to mention that will put Brooklyn in a "booster" carseat. How in the world did that happen?? He does have two teeth, though, and I have a small suspicion that he's working on another one. That is unconfirmed, however. Brooklyn is definitely big enough for a new carseat. I've been looking at them. I think it's time to break down and buy one. {sigh} Why do they grow so fast? How did they get so big? It's fun, but sad, but exciting, but....the list could go on and on... I can't imagine what my parents were feeling the other day as my Brother turned 4o-something (did I really type that??? Sorry, dude! (if you read this, that is...)). I just can't imagine. Oh well, it's inevitable, I know. I just hope and pray I'm a good mother. Good enough, at least, to help them be good people. :D. At least I still have a few years for that...

Anne-Marie!

I got your package awhile ago and I love it! I left a comment on your post "weekend babbling" in June to thank you, but I guess you didn't see it! Sorry! I'm totally excited to read Angels and Demons and I love the Little Critter books and my daughter Anna was SO excited that you had a book for her in there, too. It was so sweet of you!! So, thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm so glad you left a comment on my blog and don't be a stranger! It was totally fun to "meet" you through the swap!

Thanks again!!
Sarah

Wow - time does fly between A and B. I moved Noah and he wasn't way ready to shop yet in the cart at the store, but you could use those carts with the seats, or just take a blanket in the store and wrap it around him in the cart. I did the blanket option (you know my boys and their blankies!!). Good luck!

I did what debbi did....the carts with the seats and then blanket in the carts without seats for a few months until mailee felt more comfortable...now she tries to crawl out and stand up....just wait til that happens!
