Summer Dayz

Ahh, summer days. Full of water, sun, heat and cool storms. A couple nights ago we had a doozy of a storm. It even woke Brooklyn up. Unfortunately that means that the days are unbearably hot and humid. To make the best of that situation, we turn to water. Today we're venturing to Racoon River Park for the first time this season. I know, I know. It's July! There have just been too many other things going on! Wading Pools, the pool, lunch bunch...etc. Craziness, to be sure. So, we'll venture to the park today and hopefully Brooklyn will want to stay longer than 1/2 an hour. It should be fun. Social at the very least.
Last night, Erica took our family photos and I'm so excited to see them. The location was better than we thought, and we're probably gonna go back because we ran out of light. It's fun for me to think that we did it at the university. (since I'm the sentimental one....) Hopefully Mason cooperated once or twice at least. Brooklyn was being a bit of a dork, too but eventually Erica got her to smile. Keep checking, I'll let you know when those are available. Have a great day all and enjoy this **fun** weather! :D.

The pool sounds glorious at this point. We have had weather in the high 90s and some 100s. It is a little bit humid today because of some threats of rain. Have a good time at the park.
